Gabriella T. Strand

​

Gabriella T. Strand is a an Associate Attorney at Berman Flury. 

She received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from California State University, Bakersfield in 2018, with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. Ms. Strand obtained her Juris Doctor, in 2022 from New England Law | Boston. Ms. Strand is admitted to practice law in the State of California.

 

During her time in law school, Ms. Strand represented indigent and low-income clients as a Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 certified student attorney with the New England Law | Boston Clinical Law office and as a student intern with the Mayor of the City of Boston’s Office of Housing Stability. While in law school, Ms. Strand also prepared various legal papers discussing the impact of suburbanization on affordable housing and the devastating impact of the Copyright Act and subsequent amendments on jazz music in America. Ms. Strand also received CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Critical Race Theory and Mediation. 

 

Prior to joining Berman Flury, Ms. Strand was an associate at a San Diego law firm representing California public agencies in the areas of education, governance and labor law. Ms. Strand also prepared a published article regarding legal updates impacting primary and secondary students in California. Ms. Strand was also an associate at a San Diego civil litigation firm where she represented clients in a variety of civil matters including breach of contract, homeowner association disputes, unlawful detainers, professional negligence, shareholder derivative suits and trust administration.

 

Ms. Strand’s practice focuses on providing legal counsel to Community Associations, in various areas including, but not limited to, member disputes, enforcement actions, amending and/or restating governing documents, litigation and assisting with Internal Dispute Resolutions and Alternative Dispute Resolutions.
